Things to do
Located in Anaheim, CA, this Disneyland Resort is the original theme park founded by Walt Disney. It's a combination of two parks: Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure. The first is the original one with classic attractions such as "Indiana Jones Adventure", "Pirates of the Caribbean" and "Splash Mountain". The must-see here is the newly opened "Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge." Disney California Adventure features more modern thrill rides with drops such as "Increadicoaster", "Guardians of the Galaxy", "Grizzly River Run." It is possible to get hopper tickets, which will work for both parks.
Universal Studios Hollywood is a great combination of stunning shows, Theme Park rides and CityWalk retail complex, which features shops, restaurants and cinemas. The park has an actual movie studio as well where you can face live actors and stuntmen performing incredible shows. "King Kong 360 3-D", "Fast & Furious – Supercharged": these are parts of the Studio Tours that will astonish you with their action and details. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter: a striking mini universe on its own. It has the coolest breathtaking rides and theme attractions with villains and heroes. Surely, you won't resist having a nice meal at Three Broomsticks rustic tavern.
This will be an unforgettable educational experience for your family members. This is a huge Science Center & Museum, which has a number of interesting exhibits. It is all about the Earth and Space; pretty simple, huh? Live demonstrations, innovative programs, an earthquake simulator, retired space capsules, you name it. A veteran Space shuttle “ENDEAVOR” will be the culmination of your visit. It is the last one of its kind built by NASA, which has traveled to open space. You'll meet "Endeavour" at Samuel Oschin Pavilion.
120 acres of immaculately taken care of 18 themed botanical gardens in combination with 42,000 pieces of American and European art pieces and 11 million library items. Definitely, just a day is not enough to see all the highlights. However, you can try to get the most out of it by enjoying Japanese and Chinese gardens, Library Exhibition Hall and Art Galleries. You will find very rare books and artworks, such as Jack London's White Fang and Gutenberg Bible. The stunningly beautiful natural scenery and the peaceful atmosphere will grant you an unforgettable stress-free and relaxing experience.
