Your 6 AM flight doesn't care if your rideshare driver cancels. Neither does ours — because we've never needed the excuse.
If you've ever stood on a dark curb at 4:15 AM watching a rideshare app "search for drivers," you already know why this page exists. DCAcar provides pre-scheduled, confirmed early morning rides to Reagan National (DCA), Dulles (IAD), and BWI — nearly 800 pre-dawn pickups completed in the first five months of 2026 alone, backed by a 99.6% on-time record.

Rideshare works fine at 4 PM. At 4 AM, you're gambling: fewer drivers on the road, surge pricing, last-second cancellations, and no human to call when the app fails. For a ride to brunch, that's annoying. Before a $1,400 international flight, it's a disaster.
Here's how a DCAcar early morning pickup works instead:
You book in advance — online in minutes, with a transparent all-inclusive rate. The price you see when you book is the price you pay. No surge, no morning surprises.
Your ride is confirmed before you sleep. You'll have your reservation confirmation with pickup details in hand the night before — not a "searching for drivers" spinner in the morning.
Your chauffeur arrives early. Our drivers are scheduled for your ride specifically. They plan their morning around your flight — not the other way around.
Help is one call away. Real dispatchers, not a help-center chatbot.
Flying home after a conference or a DC visit? Nearly half of our early morning pickups in Washington start at a hotel lobby door — the Capital Hilton, The Mayflower, the Westin Downtown, the Omni Shoreham, the Willard, the JW Marriott, and dozens more.
Tell us your hotel and flight number. Your chauffeur will be waiting curbside before you've finished checkout, will text you on arrival, and will help with luggage while the rest of the city sleeps.
Arlington is our single busiest suburban origin for pre-dawn rides — and for good reason. You're 10 minutes from DCA, but a 5:30 AM departure still means a 4:15 AM start, and that's exactly when rideshare reliability in Arlington craters. Whether you're in Rosslyn, Clarendon, Crystal City, or Shirlington, your DCAcar chauffeur is assigned the night before and waiting outside on time. We also run early Arlington pickups to Dulles and BWI daily.
Bethesda to Dulles is a 35–50 minute drive; Bethesda to BWI can run an hour. For a 6 AM flight, that's a 3:45–4:30 AM pickup — far too early to gamble on an app. Bethesda, Chevy Chase, and Potomac families and executives are among our most frequent early morning clients, and our chauffeurs know the quietest pre-dawn routes down the GW Parkway and around 495.
The 6 AM business departure. First flight out of DCA to make a 9 AM meeting in Boston or Chicago. We'll have you at the curb with time for coffee.
The early international departure from Dulles. International check-in wants you there 3 hours early — which can mean a 3:30 AM pickup from DC, Vienna, or Loudoun County. We do these every week.
The BWI budget-airline special. Those bargain 5:45 AM departures are only a bargain if you actually make them. BWI is 45–75 minutes from most of the DMV — too far to gamble on an app.
The whole-family departure. Traveling with kids on an early flight? We provide complimentary car seats on request — installed and ready when the car arrives, not fumbled in the dark.
DCAcar has served the DC area for two decades, earning more than 1,000 five-star reviews, recognition from the Washington Business Journal, and a place on the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's America's Top 100 Small Businesses list. We don't compete on price — we compete on being there. At 4 AM, that's the only thing that matters.
Every vehicle is a late-model executive sedan or SUV. Every chauffeur is professional, background-checked, and scheduled specifically for your pickup.
Where our early morning clients actually come from: Washington DC (downtown, Georgetown, Capitol Hill, and every hotel district), Arlington, Bethesda, Alexandria, Vienna, Tysons, McLean, Silver Spring, Chevy Chase, Fairfax, Reston, and out to Frederick and Loudoun County — to DCA, IAD, BWI, and private aviation FBOs.

Yes. Early morning airport transfers are one of our most-booked services — we completed nearly 800 pickups before 7 AM in the first five months of 2026. Your chauffeur is assigned and scheduled in advance; there is no "finding a driver" step at any hour.
Pickups at 4:00 AM or later carry no late-night surcharge at all — and that covers the vast majority of early flights. For overnight pickups between 11:00 PM and 3:59 AM, a flat late-night fee applies and is included in your upfront quote. Either way, the price you see when you book is the price you pay — never surge pricing, never a morning surprise.
s a rule of thumb: 2 hours before domestic departures, 3 hours before international, plus drive time (Arlington to DCA is quick; Bethesda or DC to Dulles and BWI needs 45–75 minutes). Not sure? Tell us your flight number when booking and we'll recommend a pickup time.
Absolutely — hotel pickups are nearly half of our early morning DC rides. Include your hotel name in the booking and your chauffeur will meet you at the lobby entrance.
