Frequently Asked Questions

No, we are one of the few companies in this industry that do not charge extra fees such as fuel surcharge, early morning fees and so on. The price that you see when getting a quote online is what you will be charged for the service. Additional fee is charged only if you are late from your scheduled time. Our chauffeur will wait for you for free for 15 minutes going to Airports or Point to Point Transfers. Extra service that your request will result in a fee.
Form Airports: Domestic flights have 45min complimentary waiting time and International flights have 1 hour and 15min complimentary waiting time from the time the plane land (we use Flightaware and Google to track flights). After free waiting time has expired, you will be charged waiting time, billed in 15min increments. Sedan waiting times: $17.70 for 15min, SUV waiting times: $23.70 for 15min.

You can cancel your reservation at any time. However, to get a full refund, please make your cancellation no later than 4 hours BEFORE your scheduled pick up time. DCAcar will track your flight for your chauffeur to meet you at the airport on time. However, it is the passenger's responsibility to notify DCAcar if they change flights. Please call and notify us of any changes. You will be charged a No Show fee (full fare) if you fail to notify us of a flight change.

Depends on the type of service you've booked with us. For "Meet and Greet" your chauffeur will wait next to the baggage claim designated for your flight holding a sign. For curbside pickups you will receive a text upon landing from your chauffeur and instructions for the pick up.

Reagan National Airport (DCA):

• For Curbside - your chauffeur will be waiting at our holding lot which is 1-2 minutes away from the airport. Once you land your driver will send you a text with his phone number. Please call your driver whenever you have your luggage and your chauffeur will meet you. At Terminals B and C: you will meet your driver on the arrivals level, exiting the terminal through doors 6, 7 or 8 and crossing to the passenger pick-up median. Please remember to specify which door number you are close to.

• For Meet and Greet - your chauffeur will be waiting for you in front of your baggage claim. Please also consider the walking distance to parking lots: approximately 5 minutes from Terminals B,C and 10 minutes from Terminal A.

Dulles International Airport(IAD):

• For Curbside - your chauffeur will be waiting at our holding lot which is 1-2 minutes away from the airport. Once you land your driver will send you a text with his phone number. Please call your driver whenever you have your luggage and your chauffeur will meet you at the arrival level. Note to take the ramp up from the baggage claim area and notify you chauffeur the door number you will be waiting by.

• For Meet and Greet - for domestic flights your chauffeur will be waiting for you in front of your baggage claim. For International flights he will be waiting in front of International Arrivals. In both cases he will be holding your name sign.

Baltimore/Washington International(BWI):

• For Curbside - your chauffeur will be waiting at our holding lot which is 3-4 minutes away from the airport. Once you land your driver will send you a text with his phone number. Please call your driver whenever you have your luggage and your chauffeur will meet you at the curb on arrivals level.

• For Meet and Greet - for domestic flights your chauffeur will be waiting for you in front of your baggage claim. For International flights he will be waiting in front of International Arrivals. In both cases he will be holding your name sign.

Union Station:

You will get a text message from the driver once ready; car will pull into the main circle with your name sign on the front window.

DCAcar operates Cadillac XTS and Lincoln MKS luxury sedans with large trunks. If it fits in our trunk , we'll take it. Executive SUV's have larger trunks if you are taking more than 3 pieces an SUV would be your best option.

That’s not a problem: we track all our clients’ flights, so we will know if it is late or early. However, please, notify us ASAP if you change your flight.

We strive to never be late for a pick up and therefore our chauffeurs arrive 15 minutes earlier from reserved time. We are not rushing you: please take your time; we want you to know that we are there if you need to leave a little early.

Yes, we provide car seats for kids of all ages for an extra cost of $20 per one way transfer. Please select the appropriate car seat type during online booking or mention to our customer service representative when booking over the phone.

Absolutely, we provide point to point transfers, hourly charters, as well as private custom tours.

Absolutely, we service all Private Airports (FBOs) near the cities we serve. Please note when booking online select a “One-Way Transfer” from the drop-down menu and input the name and the address of the Private Airport. Don’t forget to include the Tail number in the Special Notes section.
